As I worked to apply the lessons learned from the book in my own life, I found that I was pulling from my knowledge of my Strengths to help me figure out how to make these tweaks in a way that was authentic to me. And as I was coaching other women, we leveraged their CliftonStrengths reports for unique insights to help them identify strategies to enhance their personal effectiveness with ease, excellence, and enjoyment. And it hit me. What if we created a program that combined a deep level of self-awareness that comes from CliftonStrengths coaching with an understanding of the behaviors from How Women Rise? And what if we could create a community of women who would lift each other up and help each other thrive? How powerful could that be?!

From that, Rise & Thrive was born! This is my passion project that's been on my heart for some time and is finally coming to fruition. And I couldn't be more thrilled!

I created this program to help professional women like you get out of their own way and develop a greater appreciation of the unique talents you bring to the world. You should definitely join us if:

Several years ago, I first read the book How Women Rise by Sally Helgesen and Marshall Goldsmith. It blew me away. I vividly remember thinking to myself as I was reading it "This is gold. I wish I'd had this sooner!" That thought was closely followed by "Every woman needs to read this." Because I know that, just like me, so many women are blissfully unaware that the same behaviors that have contributed to their success over time are likely the EXACT SAME BEHAVIORS that are keeping them from getting to the next level. Since that time, I have recommended the book to just about every woman I've spoken to for more than 10 minutes! (Seriously, not kidding on that one - it comes up A LOT!)

The Curriculum & Logistics

Session 1: Cohort Kickoff

We'll get to know the members of this cohort and set individual intentions for the program.

Session 2: CliftonStrengths Discovery Workshop

We'll dive into your CliftonStrengths assessment results and those of your cohort peers, then focus on application to personal leadership.

Session 3: What Gets in the Way

We'll discuss insights from the assigned reading and dive into identifying your personal limiting beliefs.

Session 4: Habits That Keep Women from Reaching Their Goals

You'll identify your top derailers and we will discuss strategies to overcome them.

Session 5: Creating Change that Sticks

We'll revisit your CliftonStrengths and how they may help (or hinder) your derailers, then begin action planning for future success.

Session 6: Wrap-up and Celebrations

You'll create your daily questions for personal accountability and we'll complete a program wrap-up.

A few more details...

We'll meet via Zoom with six one-hour sessions over the course of twelve weeks.

In addition to the live sessions, you will be paired with an accountability partner to meet with between each session. These partners will help you create your action plan, crystalize your insights, and cheer you on!
